Allied Arts/Stanford Parks
Quiet suburban charm and easy access to Downtown

With its tree canopy and leafy sidewalks, the neighborhood of Allied Arts/Stanford Park offers the best of both worlds. Its location between San Francisquito Creek and Middle Avenue allows residents to enjoy a tranquil suburbian life, all the while being close-by to Downtown Menlo Park, its restaurants and diverse shops or to the Stanford shopping center.

Residents also love the amenities the neighborhood offers, among which playgrounds, tennis courts, ballfields…

Though the traffic in the area can be congested at rush hour, especially around El Camino Real, residents still appreciate the small-town feel the neighborhood offers, the mix of older bungalows and renovated, sometimes luxurious houses, and the sense of community that having a lot of families with school-age kids brings.

Allied Arts/Stanford Park is also home to the Allied Arts Guild, a beautiful, peaceful place in busy Menlo Park. Built in 1929, the Allied Arts guild offers a beautiful garden, shops, artist studios and a café.

Did you know?

The Allied Arts Guild was inspired by the crafts Guilds that patrons Delight and Gerfield Merner of Hillsborough had seen in Europe. In 1928,  they bought 3.5 acres of land to create this center that would become a peaceful, inspirational place for local artists.
